World Smile Day

This is a rare second post for the day. And it's for a good reason - It's World Smile Day!

Have you noticed that when you smile, you can't really stay mad or angry?

I think that maybe when one smiles, one opens one's heart to God's unconditional love. It is food for the soul.

No matter what is going on in your life - the present state of the country dealing with the corona virus pandemic, the worst fires in the the states of California, Oregon and Washington, earthquakes and flooding, the mud slinging of political parties, and the other challenges we may personally face - for even just a second, we seem to forget about them when we smile.

When everything around us seems dark, a smile can make a difference to another person too. Also remember that it's one of the few truly FREE things in life. So do give generously.
