Ask and You Shall Receive

I remember during our Engaged Encounter 31 years ago, one of the facilitators said that no matter how small we think our concern is, it's always good to pray about it.

I had a small windfall gain on an investment, and I thought it would be nice to share the blessings with others. But with so many needing help these days and resources being limited, I prayed, "God, please let me know who can be blessed."

That week, I dreamt that God (through a telepathic voice) told me to help a high school classmate's foundation.

Just months earlier, I learned that a high school classmate's daughter passed away at a very young age of 15. To honor her memory, her family established a foundation that aims to augment college students' scholarship stipends to cover extra expenses like transportation and uncovered school accessories/supplies. It was such a clear and vivid dream that I did not have any doubt about the message.

I woke up with deep joy in my heart knowing that what I have asked, I have received.
