Travel during Covid

Updated: Aug 6, 2020

Since the lockdown, I have been sleeping various hours after midnight, and hence, my wake- up hours are just as varied. Because of this scenario, mass-online.org is a Godsend to me.

What a blessing it is to celebrate masses with Catholics all over the world! It is truly beautiful to know that we can participate in the Holy Eucharist, to listen to the readings, gospels, and homilies anytime. After mass, I often google the church and learn a little about their communities. We are indeed one holy Catholic apostolic church.

Two days ago, I heard mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France. Today, I joined the mass at Abu Dhabi. One day, I was planning to hear mass in India, until I heard that the mass was not in English. I've been to churches in Australia and Ireland, to churches in South Carolina, Arizona, and Philadelphia here in the US.

I feel that I have been doing some traveling during this lockdown. And it feels good inside.

Maybe you might like to visit one of these churches one day. The pastor of Our Lady of Grace in Indian Land South Carolina, Father Kirby, is one very charismatic priest. He celebrates the 9 AM weekday masses, LA time.

I think you will like him.
