*This story is the second of a 9-day series on St. Therese's promise of helping those in need manifested mostly through a shower of roses.

Lily was invited to join a medical mission in the Philippines. She and her husband wanted to go, but their finances were tight, the trip wasn't incorporated into their budget, and it was peak season for traveling. Lily prayed to St. Therese for guidance asking for yellow roses if they should join the mission.

As she went to church that morning, a little girl came up to her and gave her a bouquet of yellow roses! The little girl's mother said that her daughter saw the discounted roses and asked to get them.

That afternoon as Lily checked the airline tickets, she found two last seats for $600! It was totally affordable!

To top the airline deal, Lily and her husband were hosted by a dear friend from their lodging to all their meals - a truly unforgettable trip!
