Pay It Forward Day

April 28th is Pay It Forward Day. It is not an organization, but a movement towards making the world a better place. It began in 2007 in Australia on the last Thursday of April and continued until 2015 after which it was changed to April 28. Today, it is a global movement.

This event reminds us to be kind every day. A small kindness can create a ripple that will inspire people to pass on the kindness indefinitely, just like in throwing a stone on a lake that creates circles of waves. Can you imagine the multitude of ripples that can be created if people join in doing kindness?

Especially during these gloomy and dark days, we can always give kindness to light the path of someone in need.
