On Mount Carmel, the Prophet Elijah, and the Blessed Virgin Mary

Mount Carmel is located in the Holy Land and described as a sacred area.

The feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is on July 16, the day she appeared to St. Simon Stock in 1251AD and give him the Brown Scapular.

The prophet Elijah, of the Old Testament who lived in the 700 BC, almost 2000 years before Our Lady appeared to St. Simon, exhibited the power of God for everyone to behold. This also took place at Mount Carmel.

It's heartwarming to know that since ancient times, God has been manifesting his faithfulness to those who believe and trust in him. To this day. At the same special place.
