Have you carried a grudge? If not, you are innumerable times blessed!
If you are like me, I like holding on to them. Like holding on to my favorite pair of pants that has gone out of style many decades ago.
I have to remind myself often that grudges, like anger, damage the person gripping it. It is much like the acid that damages the container that holds it.
So let’s let go of our grudges!
First is to pray. “Ask and you shall receive.”
Second, I have to remind myself that I am not quite the nice person I’d like to think I am.
Third, remember that the person who have a grudge to is loved by God just as much as he loves you.
And once I have accepted this truth, then humility steps in. I fill my mind with Jesus who is most humble.
With humility, there will be transformation. And the grudge will slowly fade into oblivion (as long as you don’t try to save it!)
