Here's a riddle.

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

This thing all things devours:

Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;

Gnaws iron, bites steel;

Grinds hard stones to meal;

Slays king, ruins town,

And beats high mountain down.

(You have 5 seconds to answer.)

How have you been using time lately? For me, it is one of the most valued commodities in this world. It cannot be renewed, repaired or replaced. And each day is another 24 hours less time for each of us in this world.

Most of us have probably been watching a lot of news and entertainment, playing games, clearing out our "stuff" during these days of confinement at home.

Just know that this seemingly abundance of time will not last.

And when things settle down to some normalcy, I hope that you will feel wonderful - having had the time to catch up on family and friends, to reflect on priorities, and to nourish our spirituality.

So please be careful how you use your time these days when we think there's more of it that we can use. Good things do have an ending.
