Half-full or Half-empty

Updated: Aug 24, 2022

Is the glass half-empty or half-full? These two descriptions are the same. But how we see them affects how we go through life.

How we see things depends on our innate personality, our current situation, and habits. Some people are born with a more optimistic view of things. People who have stability in their lives are more positive. Habits that encourage personal development and growth can create a lot of good. These people are usually those who see the glass as half-full.

What about the people who see the glass as half-empty? Are they doomed to lesser things in life?

Not at all. So much value has been given to these two perspectives in life that we forget that the glass can always be replenished. And this is where strength of character, perseverance, focus, and trust in God can help us with the other half of the glass.

Don't forget... we all have a choice. People don't end with half-empty or half-full glasses. There is so much more than this simplistic view of life.
