Timing is Everything.

Did you notice how COVID-19 started becoming serious in the US around the time Lent began? Could there be a message in this timing?

While Lent calls us to sacrifice, COVID mandates us to give up merry-making.

While Lent encourages us to spend time to reflect, COVID directs us to retreat from our busy daily lives.

While Lent inspires us to spend time with Jesus, COVID prompts us to seek to Him.

While Lent reminds us to pray and trust in God, COVID leaves us no choice but to do just that.

On Easter, we will celebrate Jesus's resurrection. And I hope that after COVID19, our lives will be renewed with a different sense of purpose, a new perspective, and a new life of Christ in us.
