Blessing from the Holy Spirit

Last year, I was invited to a talk by Catholic Discussion Group for May, 2023. The day of the talk is around the corner. Yet I have not decided on a topic. The host was already asking me for the topic, and I was desperate.

As I do when in desperation, I prayed to our Lord asking the Holy Spirit for guidance.

As I was deep in prayers petitioning for a topic, my mouth spoke the words "How to know God's presence in our lives." (This topic has been one of the Shorts I published several months ago.) As I realized this tremendous gift, I sat down and began to make a draft of my talk. After a couple of hours, the draft was done!

As each day passed, a new thought, idea, and learning would come to me. It's always something that was related to the talk. I incorporated all these to my writing.

I knew the Holy Spirit was walking me through the entire development of the talk.

Days before the talk, I felt it was going to be a heartfelt, inspirational, and relatable discourse.

And it turned out to be a truly inspiring talk filled with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Holy Spirit for this wonderful blessing on the Feast of Pentecost.
