A Glimpse into a Miracle

We were waiting in line for my turn at the EVA check-in counter at LAX when I looked at my printed flight details. My flight code was BR15. The signs above the counters were BR16.

I checked my printed copy again, then looked at the counter sign. Then, I checked the numbers a third time. I asked Gary , "Do you think EVA has another check-in counter?"

I then pointed to him the sign above the counter: BR16. Then I had him look at the flight details on the paper: BR15. He looked as puzzled as I did. I asked a flight staff, "Is this the check in for BR15?" He nodded, so we stayed.

After I checked in, I looked at my printed copy the last time, and guess what? It said BR16!

I showed it to Gary, and he was just as bewildered.

I realized we were just given a glimpse into how some miracles can be made to happen.

Then, I recalled the Miracle of the Dancing Sun which celebrates its 106th year today. Unlike our flight number miracle, this was an epic, magnificent, and other worldly event for all to see.
