On Being Prepared

Writer's picture: Anna Maria De GuidAnna Maria De Guid

Being unprepared for what the day holds can be unnerving.

That's why it's a better proposition to always be prepared. If you have a speech, prepare for it. If you have an exam, study for it. Whatever is going on for the day, make a plan.

The same is true for our spiritual lives. Let us nourish it everyday, even in just small ways, so that we will always be prepared. No one lives forever.

Let's plan for our afterlife long before it comes. Just like we plan early during the day so that when the night comes, our day would have been spent well.
