On Many Good Things

This past Friday, Paul and I attended SCPMG's celebration of physicians' 20th, 25th and 30th year of patient care. We did not know what to expect, as it was our first, and we almost decided to skip the event.

A wonderful team of organizers prepared an awesome program with distinguished speakers who shared their personal journey with the Kaiser, its history, mission and goals, speakers who showed these celebrated practitioner-guests how to transition their lives from active work to retirement, and most importantly, effected the audience to reflect on their personal and professional lives.

Returning home, Paul and I felt very blessed and thankful for the time we had there.

We all journey through this life making innumerable choices with the limited time that we have. Maybe we should set priorities so that we do not lose focus on what is important.

And the celebration event did just that. We should all make time for events like this.
