Mother's Day

What is it that you remember about your mother the most?

I'm sure most of us have numerous wonderful memories.

Looking back, one memory was when I had a really bad toothache when I was about 10 years old. It was 9 p.m. and the medication did not ease my pain. Mom called her cousin who was a dentist, woke her up and drove me to her cousin's dental office which was over an hour away. It never occurred to me how Mom ever paid her cousin for all that trouble.

Then there were those simple gestures of always seeing the best in me. She acted blind to my many glaring flaws. Like Jesus's, her unconditional love made me the person I am today.

This Mother's Day, let's gather around family, share the priceless memories, and let our moms know how much we really appreciate them.

My name's Anna Maria! I publish a new blog post every Monday and Friday, two of my favorite days! If you want to learn more about my journey, my book "Touched by Grace: The Journey" will be released this summer through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

In the meantime, check out my website touchedbygrace.today and subscribe for book updates and more blog posts! If you've been #tbgtoday, feel free to share your story of grace here.
