On Jesus Being God

"The Father and I are one.”

The Jews again picked up rocks to stone him. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?” The Jews answered him, “We are not stoning you for a good work but for blasphemy. You, a man, are making yourself God.”

Currently there are about 4300 religions in the world.* It may be safe to assume that there more than a handful of religious leaders: Buddha for Buddhism, Mohammad for Islam, Joseph Smith for the Mormons, and Guru Nanak for Sikhism, to name a few. Of these leaders, is there anyone who professes that he is the Son of God?

Only one.

Jesus manifests this truth with his works, not just words.

Let this truth permeate our minds and hearts.
