On Changing Perspectives

Writer's picture: Anna Maria De GuidAnna Maria De Guid

When I was in kindergarten, I thought our principal was very tall. I had to bend my neck backward every time she spoke to me.

Years passed and I was in high school when I passed by the kindergarten grounds. I saw the principal and couldn't believe that I looked down at her when she talked to me! Now, that was a literal, concrete change in perspective.

In our complex minds where perspectives seem to constantly change, let's remember Jesus, whose perspective during his life never changed. It was all about eternal life.

And his ultimate demonstration was to sacrifice his life for our salvation.

Now, that’s one perspective set in stone.
