On Focusing

My son’s class had just had their First Communion, and everyone was outside having family pictures taken.

A friend who came late was looking for his family when he saw the crowd. He thought that's probably where his family was, waiting in line to have a picture taken with the parish priest.

As he went closer, he saw the parish priest on the other side of the church with a few parishioners. He realized that the huge crowd actually gathered for a picture with the renowned boxing champion "Golden Boy" Oscar Dela Hoya, whose son also had his First Communion.

People wanted a picture with the celebrity and not with the priest!

If Jesus resurrected today, people would probably rush towards Swift, Levine or Perry instead of his tomb.

Let’s remember to keep our focus on what is important.
