Our Lady of Guadalupe

We had a dinner gathering at home and we invited Paul's family over. My mother-in-law gave me a gift box, which I put aside.

Several months later, as I was cleaning our room, I saw the box."Oh my goodness," I thought, "I've forgotten all about this!"

As I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised with an exquisite Our Lady of Guadalupe laminated picture.

The apparition of Our Lady to Juan Diego in Mexico is one of my favorite stories. It reveals in my heart how much the Blessed Mother wants everyone to know his son Jesus.

I continued cleaning and inadvertently saw the calendar. I was taken aback when I realized it was December 12 - the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe!

That was one unforgettable awesome timing!
