To Help Is to be Blessed.

Updated: Oct 27, 2022

My heart filled with warmth and joy as I read about the kindness and generosity of people, organizations and businesses who answered the call of those who have lost their homes in the California wildfires.

LA Times reported that the North Valley Property Owners Association created CampFirehousing.org for people who want to offer temporary as well as permanent housing for the dispossessed. Airbnb's Open Homes program allowed hosts to offer fire victims temporary housing.

Uber and Lyft have offered free rides, Shake Shack has provided free meals to responders, and hotels have opened their doors to those who lost their homes. Other big companies have likewise donated generously. And many other people have helped in their own ways.

There is no better way to fill our hearts with the spirit of Christmas than helping others during times of desperation.

May God bless these angels a thousandfold.
