Most everyone has probably watched "The Sound of Music," at least once. My favorite song from the soundtrack is "My Favorite Things." If I were to personalize the song's lyrics, it would go like this:
Cream cheese on bagels that’s toasted and crispy,
Puddings and pastries, and Fridays with Netflix,
Four men at home having dinner with me,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Blogging the whole day when I’m on a roll,
Phone chimes and guests call and gentle rainfall,
Bills paid on time and there's a roof o'er our heads,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Baking and cooking and eating out too,
Kisses and big hugs for me and for you,
Knowing that Jesus resides in my heart,
These are a few of my favorite things.
When my dish burns, when my cake flops,
When I’m getting tired,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I just get inspired!
