On Birthdays

Birthday greeting with fireworks at the background

I love birthdays!

I know people who devised ways to hide their real age only to figure out ways to add back the years later, because they couldn’t get their Social Security benefits on time. :D

I grew up being happy at whatever age. Mom used to say that one should be thankful for having lived one’s age. That’s why she always welcomed her birthday morning with a thanksgiving mass.

To this day I have been following her birthday tradition.

And whenever it’s a family or friend’s birthday, I pray for them many more happy, healthy and blessed birthdays to come!

My name's Anna Maria! I publish a new blog post every Monday and Friday, two of my favorite days!If you want to learn more about my journey, my book "Touched by Grace: The Journey" will be released late summer through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

In the meantime, check out my website touchedbygrace.today and subscribe for book updates and more blog posts! If you've been #tbgtoday, feel free to share your story of grace here.
