Nothing worthwhile comes in easy.
Like freedom, which comes at a cost. A huge cost.
It's easy to take freedom for granted, especially for generations who haven't experienced war firsthand. Like me. And that's why it's so important to remember the sacrifices of millions.
So when you're out celebrating the holiday and happen to meet a veteran, shake their hand and express your gratitude. If no one comes along, then say a prayer of thanks for them and for the freedom we enjoy.
