I was waiting outside the dental office, waiting for the door to open when I thought, “A lot in life is a wait.”

Think about it.

People wait during traffic and at the grocery. Children can't wait to become adults. Workers wait to retire. And so on.

But isn’t that what this life is all about?Isn’t our entire life a waiting time for our life of eternity?

So, instead of waiting for the next phase, let’s try to enjoy the wait time.

Think positive thoughts while waiting in line. Enjoy the life stage you're in (because there's no backtracking with time). Live life like it might be your last day. Savor the simple things in life.

Seize the day. Carpe diem!
