Anger is a normal human reaction that might be sparked when something undesirable happens. It can range from being slightly irritated to a full-blown rage.
I read somewhere that for anger to be justified, there are things we have to consider:
Is anger at the right time? At the right place? To the right degree? For the right reasons? At the right person?
When Jesus walked inside the temple and found vendors transforming his father’s house into a marketplace, he got angry.
Let’s do our checklist:
Right time? Yes. Right place? Yes. Right degree? Yes. Right reasons? Yes. Right person(s)? Yes.
So before we get nasty angry, let’s pinch our arm while doing a rundown of our list… Right time? Right person? Right place? Right degree? Right reason?
Do let me know if it helps.
