God gave us different circumstances in life.
Paul told me he had a classmate in college who would party the night before exams and still get the highest marks in class. Everyone else would stay up studying until the wee hours of the morning.
How great it would be to be that classmate!
But we shouldn't really compare ourselves with others. We just always need to do our best.
We should compare ourselves to how we were in the past. Are we better now?
We can also compare ourselves to our (perceived) potential. Are we getting close to it?
And the good thing about doing our best is that there will be no regrets.
Just priceless peace.
