On Faith

Writer's picture: Anna Maria De GuidAnna Maria De Guid

Jordan was walking along the mountain ridge when he accidentally fell off the cliff. On the way down he grabbed a branch. Looking down, he could not see the bottom of the cliff.

He began yelling for help, hoping someone would hear him.

Then he heard a voice. “Jordan, I am the Lord. I will help you. Let go of the branch and I will take care of you. Have faith in me.”

There was silence.

Then Jordan yelled again, “Is there anyone else up there?”

It is easy to speak of faith. But only when faith is tested can lip service be separated by true faith.
