During late fall, gardeners prune the plants to maintain its health, to train the plant for shaping, and/or to improve the quality of the flowers.
Occasionally, I feel the need to do some personal pruning. I need to take out unnecessary things in my life and hopefully, improve the quality of it.
I don’t always do the pruning. Jesus does it sometimes. There’s actually no one who could do a better job. Pruning either by myself or by Jesus is never easy nor painless.
But when I look forward to the spring of my life, I know that I will blossom more beautifully than ever.
