On Humility

Updated: Nov 19, 2023

I was very excited to post my sister-in-law's healing miracle! It was a deeply touching experience for her, and I found that it touched me profoundly as well.

I shared it with Facebook groups, but I found it odd that one group that calls itself the place where miraculous healing stories can be found declined my story! My heart's exuberance suddenly dove. How could that be? I wanted to ask the administrators if they've watched the Short. How could they have declined this beautiful story? I wanted to give them a piece of my mind.

Oh well, I thought that maybe they'll watch my video on another FB group and change their mind later. Or maybe my channel was too Lilliputian for them as their postings are from popular channels with lots of followers. I consoled myself knowing that God knows our hearts.

Lo and Behold! I checked my YouTube channel later that day, and I could not believe that there were 800 plus views on the healing story, and the day hasn't ended! (My average views lately have been less than a hundred.). By the time I went to bed, it was over 1900 views - a number that made me smile from ear to ear.

I felt in my heart that God wanted me to know that his miraculous healing is something that is worth sharing. Then St. James' words came to me, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." James 4:10

What a wonderful way to start a Monday!
