Fr. Nic and the Blessed Sacrament

In the midst of Lent, people are isolated in their homes not able to partake of the blessings of the church during this very important celebration of the liturgical year.

Father Nic thought of bringing the Blessed Sacrament to the people of his parish.

He borrowed a pickup truck and stood on the open air back carrying the Blessed Sacrament for everyone to see. It was under the heat of the summer sun that he began the trip. As he traveled the roads of the town, his heart was deeply touched by people kneeling on the road, making the sign of the cross and paying their respect to our Lord.

During the middle of his route, he noticed that it started to shower. Rain gently fell on Jesus’ parade. Then a few minutes later, a beautiful rainbow presented itself in the skies.

Fr. Nic’s heart overflowed with joy, gratitude and awe. He knew that Jesus was with them.
