A Mountain of Prayers

Updated: Mar 28, 2020

Do you know how long it takes to pray the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be all together? It takes 45 seconds. Give or take a few seconds.

For those staying at home, how much of our time do we spend on our phones, on our computers, or on Netflix? Maybe 2,3,4 hours? Or is it 6,7,8 hours?

Maybe we can spare less than a minute a few times during the day to say those prayers for those in the front lines, for those who are sick. And for a cure.

The pyramids of Giza started with one block of limestone followed by another until the entire structure was built. Our minute prayer, added with all the others, will create a mountain of prayers that God will not be able to ignore.
