Living with the End in Mind

Three men (cartoon) walking the cemetery grounds

When we go to school, our goal is to finish: 12th grade, college and maybe post graduate studies. Goals are written on our minds, hearts and usually, our parents' checkbooks.

Goals are easy when our journey is clearly defined. How about goals outside of school?

At this point in my life, I look at my goal as doing the best I can with my God-given roles: as as a spouse, a parent, a sibling, a relative, a friend, and the list goes on.

For me, life is all about relationships. Have we given our best in our God-given roles?

Let's try living with the end in mind... let's give the best of ourselves because for sure, no one lives in this world eternally.
