Our mother said her father (our grandfather) used to say - It's good that you are paying taxes. It means that you have income!
Let's look at it this way... Paying taxes is actually one way of sharing our blessings with others. How else can our country be able to provide its people goods and services without our taxes? (Let's pray they use it wisely.)
And for the same reason, it's good to share our talents, time and treasure with others. That just means we are very blessed to have been given those!
And let's not forget that God is never outdone in generosity.
