Psalm 91

Tess and her husband Ed were flying from Manila to Los Angeles on the mandated last day of outgoing flights. They've been gone for two months.

Her stomach never churned this badly with acid. They still didn't have a ride from the province to the airport. Then she learned their flight was cancelled. How were they ever going to go back to Los Angeles?

She talked to a dear friend Ditas about her desperation and anxiety. Her friend told her to read Psalm 91. Soon after reading the verse, Tess felt peace in her heart. In a few hours, someone offered them a ride, ran across another flight (which they found at a deep discount), drove to the airport in 40 minutes (usually a 3-hour ride), got the best airplane seats, passed through a hassle free Customs and Immigration at Tom Bradley. And to top that, Ditas brought her everything she needed for the lockdown: food, toiletries and disinfectants.

When she arrived at her house, someone sent her a message - Breaking Good News! Read Psalm 91. As she read the verse this time, her heart overflowed with immense gratitude and joy. And she cried. She knew that God had led them through their journey ... and came out unscathed. She knew in her heart she just experienced God's miracle for them unfold.
