It's December!

For some people, there's an extra reason to be happy that December is here. They can't wait for the year to end.

2020 has been filled with unimaginable set of events, and I don't blame some people for feeling the way they do. Covid, riots, political turmoil, fires, hurricanes, elections, and more civil unrest!

Regardless of the events though, December continues to bring me hope and light in these times. A reminder that our journey to salvation has been set in motion. A reminder that the light that will lead us through whatever darkness we will encounter in our lives has been lit.

I often liken our journey to Harry Potter who survived Voldemort, "The Hunger Games"' Katniss bringing inspiration to the subjugated districts, the hobbits destroying the source of all malevolence, the Avengers working together to put an end to one man's desire to bring his kind of peace through violence and death. And finally, in "Star Wars," it is like the resurgence and victory of the Force against the evil Empire.

But as grandiose and magnificent these victory battles have been, it is nothing compared to what ours will be. Because ours is real, and there are no sequels. It is an eternal true victory.

And the anticipation begins this month.
