He knows our hearts.

I woke up on June 19, almost a month ago, and learned it was the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I lighted a candle and said a special prayer to Jesus. I thought it was a good time to go to morning mass for the first time after churches reopened. Inside the church, I was ushered to a pew that was just beside the statue of the Sacred Heart. Maybe Jesus wanted me to know he heard my prayers that morning.

The homily given by Fr. O'Brien was about St. Margaret Mary who had a vision where Jesus took her heart and put it in his heart before returning it back to St. Margaret Mary. At that moment, it reminded me of a similar dream which I had almost forgotten. My heart overflowed with joy remembering the dream.

How was it that I decided to go to mass on that day after almost three months of lockdown? How was it that I was put on a pew beside the Sacred Heart of Jesus? How was it that the homily made me recall my own experience with the Sacred Heart of Jesus?

I don't think it's crazy to think that these little things do account for something. I think that the more we desire to know about Jesus, the more He will share his life with us.
